Mix a 15mg vial with 1.5ml of water and you get 10mg in every ml. Your 2mg dose is then 0.2ml, which is 20 units on a standard insulin syringe (the U-100 kind, where 100 units is 1ml). The vial holds about 7 doses.

The maths
How it works.
Strength is what is on the vial divided by the water you add: a 15mg vial in 1.5ml is 10mg per ml. Your dose divided by that strength gives millilitres. Multiply by 100 for units, because a U-100 syringe holds 100 units in every millilitre. So a 2mg dose at 10mg/ml is 0.2ml, which is 20 units.

People ask.
How much bacteriostatic water do I add?
There is no single right answer; the water sets the concentration. Less water means fewer units per dose and more precision at higher doses; more water means larger, easier-to-read draws at small doses. A common house standard for a 15mg vial is 1.5ml (10mg/ml). For a 20mg BPC-157 vial, 4ml gives 5mg/ml and a 250mcg dose is 5 units.
What is a unit on an insulin syringe?
U-100 insulin syringes are marked in units where 100 units equals 1ml. So 10 units is 0.1ml, 50 units is 0.5ml. The calculator converts your dose in milligrams to units at the concentration you have mixed.
Why does the calculator say my dose is under 4 units?
Draws under about 4 units are hard to measure accurately on a standard syringe. Reconstitute with less water so the same dose becomes a larger draw.
Can I use sterile water instead of bacteriostatic water?
Bacteriostatic water contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which inhibits bacterial growth in a multi-use vial. Sterile water does not, and a reconstituted vial drawn from over weeks should not be mixed with it.
How long does a reconstituted vial last?
Refrigerated, most peptides are used within four to six weeks of reconstitution. Do not freeze, do not leave in heat, and do not shake to dissolve; swirl or let it sit.
